Thanks to a service my cable provider calls On Demand, I've been given a chance to see a History Channel movie that I missed when it was originally shown in May. It's called "Hatfields & McCoys" and runs about 4 hours 30 minutes without commercials. Kevin Costner plays Anse Hatfield, and there are other familiar faces among the cast members. The movie has more profanity and bloody violence than I expected from something shown on the History Channel, but that adds to its authenticity. We've watched Parts 1-2, with the conclusion set for tomorrow night. Highly recommended viewing for anyone interested in seeing what can happen when things are allowed to get out of hand, or any fan of Sam Peckinpah movies.
