Q NOTES # 813: A Really Big Shew?

The best way to grab the undivided attention of Americans is to give them something exciting to watch on television, which explains the manner in which the House January 6 investigating committee plans to present its public hearings this month.

Trumplickans pretend they see no difference between having a personal opinion about the outcome of an election, and participating in a seditious conspiracy to overturn the result of the election. They're either pretending, or they're too stupid to be running around loose among decent American citizens.

Trumplickans also pretend to believe the price of gasoline is more important to voters than the threat of replacing democracy with a fascist dictatorship. This is wishful thinking carried to its extreme, though it's probably true for hardcore MAGA maggots in red areas.

Party leaders will work overtime to keep the dullards and dimwits who elect them from thinking too much about what they'll be seeing and hearing on the TV this month.

Added 6:48 PM: Texas A&M has already given the nation Rick Perry and Louie Gohmert. That's bad enough, but if the university allows Kyle Rittenhouse to enroll, that tears it for me: I'm through with 'em.

Q NOTES # 803: More Mumbling About Murder

Public schools in red states are constantly  being attacked by Trumplican politicians at the federal, state, and (sometimes) local levels. Attacked for the books in their libraries. Attacked for teaching Critical Race Theory (which isn't). teaching history (which is), and teaching science (which also is). Attacked for their bathroom policies, their acceptance of student/faculty diversity, and for their lack of mandatory classroom prayers.

Considering how public school education is devalued, disparaged, or condemned by Trumplican leaders, it's surprising that more schools aren't being assaulted by ignorant goobers with guns.

Added 4:28 PM: Read a post @ DU concerning some right-wing jerk-off pontificating on TV about the recent massacres in Buffalo and Uvalde, who believes the killers were driven to it because traditional ideals of American manliness are being questioned. Without stereotypes of acceptable manly behavior to guide them, they were confused.

Somewhere along the way, a lot of men in this country decided that Donnie Covfefe is the epitome of masculinity, which would be laughable if it wasn't so fucking pathetic. Males who strive to be more like Covfefe are asking to be despised and ridiculed by rational Americans.

Q NOTES # 793: Knowing the wrong from the right

The Great Replacement is a major topic this week. The theory maintains that there's a liberal conspiracy to replace good white Christian followers of Donald Fugtupp with non-white illegal immigrants who will be docile Democratic voters. This so-called theory is accepted as fact among white supremacy lunatics seeking excuses to go on killing sprees, and the struggle against it is practically the entire Trumplican political agenda.

I might give replacement theory a second thought if someone like Steve Bannon, Tucker Carlson or Empty Greene was sent to Central America every time an immigrant legally entered the United States.

A persuasive argument is made @ Daily Kos that Liz Cheney should set the tone for public hearings the 1/6 committee will be holding soon. She's scaring the shit out of Fugtupp.

Q NOTES # 778: Signs of the Times

In today's Trumplican party, having a record as a sexual predator is an asset rather than a liability, especially in shitholes like Nebraska.

Question 11: Will Greg Abutt ever be punished by Texas voters for pissing so many millions of dollars down rat holes with his pointless political stunts? Probably not, since the Basic Stupidity Rate in Texas exceeds the national average.

A few years ago, Ronny Jackson's name first appeared in news reports when he was Donnie Dump's official White House doctor, and made several ridiculous statements about the dumper's phenomenal excellent health. The more media attention Ronny received, the more suspicious his professional behavior seemed. Of course, once it was established that he was a worthless political hack, he was a natural for the office of U.S. representative from a backwater district in Texas. His downhill slide into disgrace continues as it now seems he was involved in the 1/6 coup attempt, along with Murk Meadows, Pule Gosar, Andy Biggs, Gym Jordan, Mope Brooks, Marjorrhea T. Greene, and more.

More evidence is accumulating, and it's becoming obvious that a lot of Trumplicans endorsed by the dumper are avoiding debates with their MAGA primary opponents to conceal their lack of qualifications (and the fact that all endorsements were based strictly on disgusting personal allegiance to the GDMF himself).

Related question: When the dumper and Herschel Walker appear together onstage, does Herschel seem smarter compared to the dumper, or vice versa?

Q NOTES # 741: In Pursuit of White Whales?

The most interesting story in the news this week, in my opinion, is the one that concerns Clarence (Clearance Sale) Thomas, that creepy broad he married, Don Vaselini enabler Mark Meadows, and a bunch of text messages that substantiate a felony called seditious conspiracy.

The least interesting story is one that keeps resurfacing every few days because it concerns the psychotic obsession of trumpunks with a bizarre conspiracy theory focused on a laptop computer allegedly owned by Joe Biden's son, Hunter.

According to the psychopaths obsessed with the bizarre theory, Hunter was involved in something illegal and left evidence on his PC, which was discovered when the PC fell into the hands of a repair service. If the evidence had been reported in the media with the enthusiasm that greeted Hillary's emails, the ensuing scandal would have derailed the Joe Biden juggernaut, Don Vaselini would've won the election, and all the horrible things happening now under the leadership of Joe & Kamala could've been avoided. Unfortunately for trumpunks, there was a vast left-wing conspiracy to help Joe defeat Don Vaselini, and the scandal was buried prior to the election.

So the psychosis of bottom-feeders and their irrational fantasies compete for attention with an actual conspiracy to overturn an election and overthrow the government.

In another story that got plenty of media coverage, Judge KBJ survived the efforts of gutter trash like Rafael (Ted) Cruz and his fellow trumpunks on the Senate Judiciary Committee to drag her down to their level. Hopefully, Judge KBJ will eventually be seated on the Supreme Court as a worthy successor to RBG.

Daily Kos has an interesting feature that links Russia's thus-far-unsuccessful invasion and conquest of Ukraine to the failed 1/6 attempted coup. Putin pulled the strings on his puppet, Pisspuddle, for five years with a goal of seriously weakening (if not destroying) the United States as an international power. The attempted overthrow of democracy, and subsequent ability of Don Vaselini and his co-conspirators to escape accountability for more than a year, was perceived as a golden opportunity by Vladimir. He misjudged his advantage.

Last year, one of the epic fails in the news was a bogus audit of ballots in Maricopa County, Arizona, which was expected to prove that Joe didn't really win the state in 2020, but only proved that Pukepuddle lost by more votes than originally recorded. Lately, a comparable failure involves a bunch of mentally-defective mother truckers who've been trying to disrupt society by staging protests with something they call freedom convoys.

Q NOTES # 666

Donnie Pudd believes his endorsements of candidates are precious, but their actual value depends on who you ask. For example, anyone Pudd endorses is immediately scratched off my list of choices.

Trumplicans will go to ridiculous lengths to divert media attention from their evil agenda, with Moscow Mitch usually running the show. Changing Senate filibuster rules to pass comprehensive voting rights protections isn't (D) tyranny, but the possibility it might happen has Mitch in panic mode.

I would consider it hilariously funny if Maddie Cawthorn and all the other Trumplicans in Congress who actively participated in provoking insurrection were disqualified from holding federal office, based on the 14th Amendment.
