More Friday 13th News

Reason #4,762,000 Donny Dump should never win another election: He thinks supporting the U.S. Constitution does not include preserving, protecting and defending it. What an asshole those MAGA mooks are supporting.

Remember when TRash dUMP was running for the first time (2016) and promised the bottom-feeders at his pep rallies that after he was elected, they would all enjoy so much winning, they would eventually beg him to stop because there would just be TOO MUCH WINNING? TRash dUMP was already a loser then, but he played a winner on a TV show so the mental defectives in his audience(s) were sure he was leveling with them. What fools they are.

They can't handle the truth.

It's nothing new, but it bears repeating over and over:

The survival of the (R) party is totally dependent on the complete and utter stupidity of the assholes who voted for and will vote for Donny 10 Flushes. That explains why every (R) political hack from Booger Barr down is on TV lying, lying again, and lying some more. If their voters ever begin to search for the truth, the entire (R) shit mountain will implode.

Wrong Move, Lardass

In his letter to FBI Director James Comey telling him he's fired, Cornholio says he appreciates Comey telling him on three separate occasions that he, Cornholio, was not under investigation.

Of course he's under investigation, and Comey wouldn't have told him he wasn't. If Cornholio isn't being examined under the FBI's microscope, there's no reason to fire Comey now.

Every American capable of intelligent thought knows the so-called precedent (sic) has been up to his eyebrows in corruption involving the Russians, and firing Comey after his Senate testimony yesterday is proof that the fat motherfucker is guilty and getting desperate.

Richard Nixon tried this shit, and he didn't get away with it either. If the Republicans in Congress let this shit slide, kiss America goodbye --- we're over.

You are FIRED!

Swallowing

  • We need the Texas abortion law to protect the health of pregnant women.
  • We need the Texas voter ID law to end rampant fraud at the polls.
  • We need privatization of government services to improve the quality at a small fraction of the current cost.
  • We need private school vouchers to ensure poor minority children get a superior education.
  • We need to deregulate businesses to create millions of high-paying jobs.
  • And on and on and on~~
The shit Republicans will swallow to qualify for club membership is amazing.

Banning Banners

After the church killings in South Carolina, the Confederate flag is the topic of the day on my Facebook news feeds. Here's what I think:

In the 21st century, anyone who needs to display a Confederate flag anywhere other than in a museum is making a statement. The statement is this: "Fuck yeah, I'm a flamin' asshole. Whatcha gonna do about it?"

Old Time Religion

Anyone seeking a quick preview of what American life would be like if Christian dominionists get their way can find it in backwater hellholes like Oklahoma.

Crackers

Where does Alabama get these ignorant, nose-picking assholes anyway?

But not all the nose-picking assholes are in Dixie. There are a lot of them in prairie dog country and backwaters like Kansas.

How do these assholes get elected in the first place? Maybe it's because so many people vote based on the party brand name instead of the party's policy agenda.

Ducks

The TV program Duck Dynasty and its numerous lowbrow fans are an excellent argument against the concept of American cultural superiority.

For God's Sake

Sugar Cain now claims that God persuaded him to run for the presidency. Didn't Perrito claim that God called HIM to run ? And I seem to recall Moochele Bachmann saying she heard God telling her to join the race. Does God have a serious problem with short term memory lapses, or is it that He can't make up his mind ? Or is some motherfucker lying about why he's running ? Moochele is the only one of the three who's convincing when she says she hears voices telling her to do things.

There's always the possibility that maybe God was bored and decided to have a little fun with the election.

Dream on, baby

Bachmann promises gasoline at two dollars per gallon during her presidency. I hate to break the news to this bimbo, but America isn't likely to see cheap gasoline again, and is even less likely to elect Bachmann in 2012. Two dollar gas and Michele's journey to the White House ? Those ships have sailed.

Money Matters

If Obama continues to push a deficit reduction plan that involves the elimination of special interest tax breaks in addition to trillions in spending cuts, and if congressional Dems stand firm behind him, it looks like the Republicans will walk away without approving an increase in the debt ceiling.

There seems to be mixed opinion on what happens then. Conservatives mostly agree that it's no big fuckin' deal. Everyone else seems to believe the economic consequences will be catastrophic. Since I wasn't an economics major, I don't know which side is right.

One thing I do know is that if the conservatives are wrong and everything goes to hell in a handbasket this fall, it's critically important that American voters realize who caused the holocaust by refusing to compromise. The only upside to an economic disaster would be seeing the GOP locked into minority status for the duration of my lifetime. That would be one less thing for me to fret about.

More from Newt Get-Rich

As soon as The Newter makes his official announcement, we can start pointing at him and laughing about this bullshit. Cheating husbands everywhere can blame their lowdown ways on patriotic zeal.

Upon reflection...

Democrats are the Three Stooges without the humor, and Republicans are pit bulls raging at the leash and dying to bite somebody. For me, the only possible reactions to the political news these days are anger or apathy. For the moment, I've decided apathy is easier.

Dilemma

Froma Harrop's column from the Houston Chronicle. Her topic is Democratic Party panic over their prospects in this fall's midterm election. The comments posted by the usual gang of inbred rightwingers are the best part.

The Dems turned their first year behind the wheel into a tragicomedy, bungling things so badly I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. It's tempting to hope they lose control of Congress just because it would serve them right.

Most of the years I've paid attention to politics, Republicans have been the dominant party, so I've had plenty of experience watching them and judging what they have to offer. My first vote in a presidential election was for Richard Nixon in 1968, and I've always regretted it. During Watergate, I believed I was seeing Republicans at their worst, but I misjudged their ability to outdo themselves.

Republicans are convinced that voters ran them out of town on rails because they weren't conservative enough, and they've spent 2009 transforming themselves into a freak show. Somehow, the GOP never changes for the better; they always find ways to go from bad to worse. Any satisfaction derived from seeing Democrats get what's coming to them wouldn't last long once teabaggers started making the rules.

Liberal bias in the strangest places

It wasn't bad enough that they took over the corporate media outlets like network news and the major metropolitan newspapers. Now, the damned liberals have taken over the Bible.

Thanks to Applesauce for linking me to this website, without which I would never have known about this particular assault on religion. Fortunately, the people who've already given us Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Tom DeLay, Karl Rove, and Dick Cheney are there to straighten things out. And on and on it goes.

Sometimes I wonder...

A news item that's a hot topic in North Texas and got some national attention: A basketball game on 01-13-2009 between the girls' team at The Covenant School and the girls' team at Dallas Academy, an institution which has an excellent reputation for its special needs programs. Covenant beat Dallas Academy 100-0, and was allegedly pouring it on late in the game, even though Dallas Academy's team is the kind that seldom, if ever, wins a game. Covenant has issued public apologies and fired their coach, and it's become quite an issue. In December, thousands of orangebloods were in an uproar because Oklahoma was chosen to play in the Big 12 conference championship game, although Texas had beaten them in October. Never let it be said that Texans don't understand the importance of sports in society.

Another item in USA Today discusses the problems that U.S. automakers like Chrysler are having with product marketing. Gasoline at four dollars per gallon started driving up demand for smaller, fuel-efficient vehicles, and the big gas-guzzlers began to be phased out. Suddenly, gasoline prices drop below two dollars and right away the demand for big trucks and SUVs has jumped and started to outstrip inventories. Some folks never learn. I'd love to see gasoline in the $ 1.499 / gallon range for the next five years, but I'm not counting on it.

Saved Girl returns...

Blacks worry about polls vs. reality in Obama campaign News for Dallas, Texas Dallas Morning News Latest News#slcgm_comments_anchor#slcgm_comments_anchor:

"The blacks have a unpleasent suprise coming. I think God will intervene, a tornado or earthquake or terrorist attack that will delay these elections until such time that all the unanswered questions about Obama are answered and then the American people will come to there sinces and say thank God we delayed this vote."

About a month ago, I pasted some fragment of idiocy written by a blog commenter with the screen name Saved Girl. I was delighted to discover she's emerged from her cellar again this morning with the comment above, responding to an article in the Dallas Morning News about concerns among black voters that somehow Obama will be knocked out of an election win. Saved Girl is a favorite of mine, since her comments always contain the best elements of conservative internet rambling - a dumb idea, incorrect punctuation and grammar, and some misspelled words.

I'm sorry, but Saved Girl belongs to a club I have no interest in joining. I wonder what she'll do if God doesn't intervene with a tornado or a terrorist attack ?

Lookin' out for number one

An article in the morning newspaper describes how Bible Spice used her authority as mayor of Wasilla to get special breaks, exceptions, freebies and privileges for herself, her family and her friends. Some of it was small-time stuff, but Failin's a small-time operator. Using her office to feather her own nest ? No wonder the GOP looked at her and saw an up-and-comer.

Who pisses me off most ? The Republicans who nominated this bimbo to begin with, or the American people who are letting them get away with it ? I honestly can't decide which is worse. One thing's certain: as long as we act like sheep, we'll keep getting sheared.

Added 10:58 pm: Just saw the YouTube of Failin and Speedo being interviewed by Katie together. It just keeps getting worser and worser. Whenever I try to listen to that chick, my brain feels like it's being soaked in sulfuric acid.

Saved Girl, in her own words

Kathleen Parker: How to solve this Palin problem? News for Dallas, Texas Dallas Morning News Opinion: Viewpoints:

Comment by SavedGirl: 2 hours ago

"The arthur of this article is a hater. Just look at the way the CBS interview with Katy Corick was edited to make Palin look like a bufoon. She did just fabulos when Shawn Hannity interviewed her, See the difference between a hostile journalist and a fair and balanced journalist."

The column by Kathleen Parker at the link suggests that Spaylin withdraw from the contest for the good of the country and women everywhere. This attracted the response from Saved Girl in italics. The only thing Saved Girl has been saved from is a solid broad-based education. Of course, it's possible someone posted this as a joke, trying to ridicule Spaylinites and characterize them as idiots.

If it's authentic ? Based on spelling and punctuation alone this gets an F, not to mention the overwhelming stupidity of the premise. As satire ? Definitely worth an A.
