Q NOTES # 331: Georgia on My Mind

As if the state of Georgia hasn't kicked Cheez Doodle's fat ass enough with their votes for Joe and Kamala, plus two Democratic senators, now there's apparently going to be an investigation to determine which statutes Cheezy violated when he tried to pressure the Secretary of State into flipping the election in his favor (by fabricating 12,000 votes, if you can believe that shit).

On the opposite side of the argument, Georgia also sent Rep. Empty Greene to Congress, and that one's crazier than a shit house rat. I watched nearly 14 minutes of the January 6th insurrection mob riot video that was shown at today's session of the Senate impeachment trial, and it was nauseating. But it left zero doubt about who and what was behind the entire fucking mess. I had seen fragments (20-30 seconds) of the news coverage, but nothing that made the visceral impact of the impeachment video. A lot of people deserve a ten-year prison sentence at a minimum. One additional point: This Senate trial will prove that Cheez Doodle delivered everything Vladimir Putin was expecting in return for his help, plus a whole lot more.

Q NOTES, DAY 263: Make it stop.

There are still 49 more days to survive before this bad dream finally reaches a conclusion. Right now, I'm keeping an eye on Cheez Doodle's lawsuits. It seems as though every time a case is thrown out of court, two more are filed in its place. Will the U.S. Supreme Court intervene in Pennsylvania? Will the state supreme court give him Wisconsin? What about pending cases in Michigan, Minnesota, Georgia and Arizona? Common sense tells me that most (or all) of these lawsuits are stage props for Cheezy's successful fundraising scam, but you never know.

There's considerable online discussion about the situation in Georgia, with two run-off elections scheduled to fill U.S. Senate seats. If the (D) candidates win both elections, we can kiss Moscow Mitch's ass goodbye as majority leader. Oddly enough, Cheez Doodle and some of his enablers have been encouraging (R) voters to boycott the election since (they claim) it's rigged against the (R) candidates. Cheezy himself has been arguing both sides (vote/don't vote) depending on what day it is. Why is this shit happening? One possible answer I've seen is that Cheezy has never given a screaming fuck about anyone but himself (and Ivanka to some extent), and since he'll be out of Washington in seven weeks, which party controls the Senate is immaterial to him. On the other hand, he really, really wants to be in total command of the (R) Party for the rest of his life, and if he can persuade enough rednecks to sit out the GA run-off elections and give the (D) Party control of both the White House and Congress, it will send a chilling message to the party regarding his omnipotence. They will presumably live in constant fear of him.

Or at least that's a credible possibility. Makes as much sense as anything else that rotten motherfucker does.

Update 5:07 PM: Wisconsin supreme court votes 4-3 against hearing Cheezy's case, tells him to go through normal state court channels instead.

Q NOTES, DAY 252: Drag

This shit is really getting to be a drag. There are news reports this morning that Vladimir Putin isn't quite ready to recognize Joe Biden as the president-elect. That helps us understand why Cheez Doodle is refusing to concede his loss or allow the transition to proceed. Putin probably realizes that in about 84 days, his fucking free ride is over where the United States is concerned.

Another lawsuit was filed Saturday in Pennsylvania state court, claiming that Act 77, passed in 2019 with bipartisan support, violates the state constitution because it expanded mail-in voting. The contention of the plaintiffs is that a formal amendment was required to make the changes to absentee ballots authorized in that legislation.

This was a last-minute action by Cheez Doodle fluffers like Rep. Mike Kelly, who is one of the plaintiffs as well as a proud MAGA ass-kisser. Pennsylvania is scheduled to certify the state's election results tomorrow (Monday). The suit is demanding the certification be prohibited unless all the mail-in ballots (other than military absentee) are thrown out, or that the court directs the PA legislature (Republican majority) to select the state's Electoral College delegation. There are millions of mail-in votes, most for Biden, that would be nullified if the plaintiffs are successful.

So far, I haven't seen any analysis of the matter by legal experts, so I have no sense of the probabilities in this case. Regardless of how the state court rules, this is expected to move quickly to the state supreme court for the definitive ruling.

Update 6:15 PM: I ran across something at DAILY KOS that eased my mind just a bit, although I don't know how accurate it might be. The writer contends that the mail-in ballots created in Act 77 are not modified absentee ballots, but a separate class of ballot, created under a different section of the law, ergo, amending the state constitution wasn't necessary. If this is interpretation is valid, the courts should be able to move this obstacle out of the road fairly quickly. Fingers x'ed.

Q NOTES, DAY 247: Endless

The list of terrible things Cheez Doodle has done to damage or destroy the United States seems endless, because he adds something new every single day, either a new outrage or a variation on an old one. Near the top of the list would be this one: He has given authority to people like this Scott Atlas asshole.

Rudy Tootie wanted 20 grand per day to act as Cheez Doodle's lead attorney, representing him in bogus lawsuits to reverse the results of the election. That's easily 19,998 bucks more than he's worth.

There's constant speculation that Cheez Doodle intends to pardon everyone who committed crimes while serving in his so-called administration, starting with himself and his rotten spawn, then working his way down the food chain. This will probably mean at least 100 pardons issued, more if he has to add members of Congress. And that tells us everything we need to know about his only term in office.

Louie Gohmert, whose very existence continues to shame and disgrace Texas A&M every day, urges MAGA zombies to initiate an armed revolution in the United States to protest the election.  I believe there should be laws against members of Congress provoking insurrections.

Daily Kos @ It's a crying shame that so many Democrats need to have things explained that should be obvious to anyone, such as why Joe Biden isn't going to waste his tenure as President getting even with or punishing Cheez Doodle for his many crimes.

We can add Dolly Parton's name to the long list of celebrities who would have been a much better president than Cheez Doodle

Q NOTES, DAY 234 (POST-ELECTION)

Yesterday I still had confidence the polls were accurate, that Biden would probably win the popular vote by about six points, and that he could possibly be declared the winner by midnight if everything fell into place in Ohio or Florida. I even thought there was a good chance the (D)'s would get at least a 50-50 Senate, with VP Kamala Harris holding the tie-breaking vote.

Today, I feel more like Philippe Petit, that French guy who walked a tightrope between the Twin Towers back in 1974. It feels like one wrong step means a long drop. As things stand at the moment, final vote totals are pending in Nevada, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Georgia. Joe could win all of them for a relatively comfortable victory. I'll be thrilled if he's able to win Nevada, PA, MI and WI. Getting Georgia would be a bonus prize. There's no firm time frame for those states to be decided, with speculation that it may take several days to get a winner.

It's hard to accept, but nearly half of the voters in the United States are totally beyond redemption. If Cheezy can even keep it close after four years of his insanity, incompetence and corruption, that's the only possible conclusion. It makes me nauseated.

Updated 12:24 PM: If what I'm seeing on the Internet is accurate, here's where things stand. Arizona has been called for Biden. Wisconsin has announced all its votes are counted, and Joe's ahead by 20,000 or so. Joe is ahead in Michigan and will win the state with a 50/50 split in the uncounted votes. The same is true in Nevada. By my count, that's a 270 vote EC win. If PA or GA (or both) come through, even better.

I've decided that I no longer give a damn about how many people die with COVID in Florida and Ohio.

As the day wears on, Joe Biden's public statements have the sound of a guy who knows he won. Cheezy's have the sound of a loser who wants everyone to believe he won. There are noticeable differences.

Daily Kos @ Cheezy's lawsuits makes the case that this is mostly dog-and-pony show to keep the family brand from diminishing in value more than it already has.

Q-NOTES, DAY 227

I've read that these days, large voter turnout in a presidential election favors (D)s since it means people who usually stay home are voting instead. Republicans usually vote every chance they get; people who sit out elections usually vote (D) when they choose to participate. The indications in early voting are that 2020 will be a large turnout election, something that Russian Asset Trump (RAT) and his party have done everything they could think of to prevent.

What are we supposed to believe when officials in RAT's so-called administration are openly contradicting his bullshit?

The Nebraska rally story is in the news, and if the media report it widely enough, it's another strike against RAT for people who haven't voted yet. It's additional proof that RAT doesn't give a shit about the people in the crowds at his dog-and-pony shows. Remember the slogan: If you like being left out in the cold to die, RAT's the one for you.

Q. Notes, Day 187

This week, Cheezy participated in a town hall meeting with undecided voters, and since it would have required me to see his face and hear his voice, I skipped the TV version, and read about it instead. Apparently, his performance sucked, which isn't surprising. Maybe those undecided voters decided they didn't need any more of this shit.

Right-wing media are furious. Biden handled his town hall so effectively, he must have cheated. God, I hate Republicans.

Q. Notes, Day 164

Since I refuse to watch it on TV, I haven't seen this with my own eyes. But based on what I'm reading, it seems like the RNC (or Don T's Inferno) is being dominated by what we used to call the lunatic fringe. I suppose those are the only people left who want to openly worship Cheezy on television. The (R) party is where the bottom feeders of America dwell.

Here's what would be cool: Cheezy's post-convention "bounce" is a drop in approval. The latest Rasmussen poll suggests it's possible.

Benghazi Redux

From Daily Kos

Here we go again. Senate (R)s are launching what promises to be a prolonged investigation of Joe Biden and his son, because they believe (D) voters have a right to know the details of Biden corruption before they vote for him in November. Sounds like an opportunity to constantly remind (D) voters why fatass was impeached in the first place, all the way to November.

Fortunately, the new precedent, established by the (R)s themselves, is that the acceptable response to a Senate committee subpoena is GFY.

Last night, I dreamed that an epidemic (some deadly virus) wiped out Dump and every member of the executive branch chosen by him, every (R) in Congress, plus millions of red state (R) voters who were exposed to the virus because Dump promised them it was no big deal. There are some people who'd consider a dream like that a nightmare.

A helluva way to run a railroad

So far, it seems like Bernie (I'm no Democrat) Sanders is leading the (D) race because he can pull about 35-40 percent of the vote in the caucuses, while the remaining 60-65 percent is being divided among the actual Democrats who are still competing.

There are media voices urging that the party unite behind Bernie, and others claiming that he can actually beat Don Crapleone in November. I'm still looking at Bernie as the best choice if (D)s really want to reenact the McGovern debacle of 1972.

Can the Russians steal it for him again?

We already know that the Russians will be working overtime to influence the 2020 election, and we already know who they'll try to elect and why they want him to win. Now we're beginning to see how they plan to elect Stink Eye, and yeah, the plan involves Bernie Sanders.

Sunday, July 14, 2019

Nice try, asshole.

I've recently seen a scattering of op-ed pieces written by Republicans who claim to oppose Donnie Stink Eye. Generally, all of them argue that defeating Donnie in 2020 is essential for America's security, but that he'll certainly win if the Democratic nominee isn't the equivalent of a moderate Republican. That's because no liberal Democrat can win the votes of anti-Donnie Republicans, and winning their votes is crucial.

What a load of crap.

Republicans fear massive Democratic voter turnout next year, and believe that can be prevented if the (D) candidate is a moderate Republican type. The number of (R)s who might vote for a moderate (D) is maybe 600 or so, but the number of (D)s who would skip the election would probably be in the millions.

Bottom line? Ignore any (R)s telling (D)s what they must do to beat Stink Eye. The correct answer is usually the opposite of whatever ridiculous bullshit they're proposing.

Guys and Gals

Republican Nicolle Wallace hosts a program on MSNBC and isn't a fan of Donny Stink Eye. She had nice things to say about Liz Warren and Kamala Harris, however.

Donny thinks he and his rotten spawn are royalty, but actually, they're just a royal pain in the ass.

No time to stand pat

For any number of reasons, the 2020 election should be a goddamned slam dunk for the Democratic Party. Still, I've learned the hard way that the ability of Democrats to blow an easy shot should never be underestimated.

To put it another way, Joe Biden ain't another Barack Obama. And Bernie ain't even a Democrat.

Smart Women

It's just a thought, but Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren are crossing out the idea of doing campaign events on Fox News, which moves them to the front of the line in my opinion. This definitely puts them ahead of any Democratic candidates who have made, or plan to make, town hall or other appearances on Fox News. Bernie Sanders doesn't count since he's not a Democrat.

B.S.

Personally, I'm rapidly running out of patience with Bernie Sanders. I see him as part of the problem, not part of the solution.

2020 and Beyond

Let me put it this way: At some point in the future, I'd be quite happy to vote for Julian Castro or Beto O'Rourke (or both) in a presidential election. If it works out to be in 2020, I'm okay with that. Either of them would be 10,000,000 times better than the asshole we're dealing with now.
