I passed the magazine stand at HEB this afternoon and spotted the first college football magazines of the summer. I picked up my copy of Lindy's National College Football 2012 Preview, and will add a few others later this month.
Lindy's Top 10 has LSU ranked number 1, Alabama at number 3, Georgia at 6, and Arkansas at the 9th spot. That's four SEC teams in their top ten, three of which will play in the same division as the Aggies, rated 29th. Florida, also on TAMU's schedule this fall, is ranked 20th. If these predictions are accurate, the schedule looks like a meatgrinder. New coaching staff, green quarterbacks, and a defense that was totally unimpressive last year. Add it all together and it doesn't look promising for the Aggies.
