Evangelunacy and the Texas Taliban

I signed up for an online newsletter from Washington Monthly, the latest of which highlights a feature by Mariah Blake about Don McLeroy and the other evangelunicals on the Texas Board of Education. It's bad enough that these worthless dipshits have the power to fuck things up in Texas, but it's a sheer outrage that the structure of the textbook publishing business allows the rot that starts in Austin to spread around the country. This shit just sucks the life out of me.
