Tommy Korioth of Austin was the first blogger to look at Fertilizer Storage and decide it deserved a link on his own blogs, Left-O-Rama and Basket of Puppies. Mr. Korioth is the kind of guy who takes off his shoes before tracking mud all over my rugs, which makes me appreciate his interest even more. To return his kindness, I check his blogs out routinely. This morning, I noticed he'd posted a column written in 2006 by the late Molly Ivins, who would've been listed as one of The Exemplars in the sidebar at Hot Water Sandwich had I been thinking clearly.
The subject of Molly's column is why she wouldn't be voting for Hillbillary (had she survived her breast cancer). I vaguely remember reading it when it was first printed, and it's worth a look if the topic matters to you. Molly's syndicated columns were occasionally reprinted in our local newspaper, which is how I learned who she was. I wish I had her understanding of political issues and talent to write about them.
