A little after midnight as I write this. Started the day on this blog, might as well finish it here. Voted at noon, went to the caucus at night, got home and watched election returns on MSNBC until 11:00 pm. Obama won Vermont, Hillbillary won Rhode Island and one of the day's two big enchiladas, Ohio. At 11:00, Texas was still too close to call, although Hillbillary was narrowly leading.
Watched Hillary's victory speech in Ohio, and Obama's speech from San Antonio. Afterwards, I took a look at Huffington Post to see how the blogosphere is handling the day's events. Frankly, some of the crap that's been coming from Hillary lately is enough to give me pause. I won't rehash it tonight, but it's turning my stomach. That woman has no concept of the magnitude of the damned ass-kicking McCain is about to give her assuming she's able to eliminate Obama between now and Labor Day. At that point, the Clintons can vanish into the mist as an American political institution, and we can await the day when Jeb Bush surfaces as the leading contender for the GOP nomination. Maybe 2012 ?
