I've tried to wade through the political news of the weekend, but it's just too damned discouraging. Here are a few random thoughts planted in my mind by what I've read:
The founding fathers obviously didn't anticipate the United States would be sinking in an endless cesspool of stupidity by the year 2016. They would've worked harder on sections of the Constitution if they had envisioned that almost the entire southeastern part of the nation would eventually be overwhelmingly dominated by people who are stupid, ignorant, or evil.
Something that will make most educated, intelligent and sensible people want to puke would be Rafael (Ted) Cruz defending Clearance Thomas in an interview on Fox News.
What the U.S. needs is an international media-enforced moratorium on the waste of shit. He probably wouldn't survive a total media blackout since his entire existence depends on him being the center of attention all day, every day.
President Obama made some memorable appearances at the annual White House Correspondents Dinner, and now President Biden has added one of his own. The waste of shit was incapable of following the tradition because making even a little fun of himself for a few minutes would be intolerable for that repulsive mental case.
