Teapeople update

During the short-lived excitement of the Big 12 implosion, I ignored most of the national political news. While my attention was diverted, there's a possibility that air has leaked from the tea party balloon. Clarence Page leans to the liberal viewpoint, but his analysis is usually sensible. The teapeople are so firmly anti-government that the candidates they support are often inexperienced political amateurs. It will benefit the nation if the tea movement, like college football realignment, just fizzles out.
