Shooting irons

At some of the metropolitan Texas newspaper websites, particularly the Houston Chronicle and Austin American Statesman, registered online readers have access to free blogspace, with a few restrictions regarding offensive content. I've been scouting reader blogs to see if they've produced anything worthwhile or inspirational. Some are excellent, some less so, some are a total waste of keystrokes. Most people would probably place my blogs in the latter category. Whatever.

After checking blogs written by hardcore conservatives, it's obvious Texas has folks who are so in love with their guns they want to sleep with them, and would make love to them if they could figure out how to do it without blowing holes in themselves. Helpful hint: Unload your gun before making love to it.
