The word for today

The word for today is "purgative."

A handy desktop reference can be found at http://www.onelook.com/, and if you don't already know the meaning of purgative, you can find its definition there.

I finished my walk about 4:00 and decided I had time to run out to the Barnes & Noble bookstore. I got a B&N gift card for Christmas, and I need to use it.

On the car radio, Sean Hannity was doing a phone interview with Willard Romney. Sean makes no secret of the fact he's voting for Willard in the NY primary tomorrow, and he was giving WMR his very best Hann-job. As a listener, I found the interview to be a purgative experience. (In this class, when we have a new word we must use it in a sentence.)
