The most interesting story in the news this week, in my opinion, is the one that concerns Clarence (Clearance Sale) Thomas, that creepy broad he married, Don Vaselini enabler Mark Meadows, and a bunch of text messages that substantiate a felony called seditious conspiracy.
The least interesting story is one that keeps resurfacing every few days because it concerns the psychotic obsession of trumpunks with a bizarre conspiracy theory focused on a laptop computer allegedly owned by Joe Biden's son, Hunter.
According to the psychopaths obsessed with the bizarre theory, Hunter was involved in something illegal and left evidence on his PC, which was discovered when the PC fell into the hands of a repair service. If the evidence had been reported in the media with the enthusiasm that greeted Hillary's emails, the ensuing scandal would have derailed the Joe Biden juggernaut, Don Vaselini would've won the election, and all the horrible things happening now under the leadership of Joe & Kamala could've been avoided. Unfortunately for trumpunks, there was a vast left-wing conspiracy to help Joe defeat Don Vaselini, and the scandal was buried prior to the election.
So the psychosis of bottom-feeders and their irrational fantasies compete for attention with an actual conspiracy to overturn an election and overthrow the government.
In another story that got plenty of media coverage, Judge KBJ survived the efforts of gutter trash like Rafael (Ted) Cruz and his fellow trumpunks on the Senate Judiciary Committee to drag her down to their level. Hopefully, Judge KBJ will eventually be seated on the Supreme Court as a worthy successor to RBG.
Daily Kos has an interesting feature that links Russia's thus-far-unsuccessful invasion and conquest of Ukraine to the failed 1/6 attempted coup. Putin pulled the strings on his puppet, Pisspuddle, for five years with a goal of seriously weakening (if not destroying) the United States as an international power. The attempted overthrow of democracy, and subsequent ability of Don Vaselini and his co-conspirators to escape accountability for more than a year, was perceived as a golden opportunity by Vladimir. He misjudged his advantage.
Last year, one of the epic fails in the news was a bogus audit of ballots in Maricopa County, Arizona, which was expected to prove that Joe didn't really win the state in 2020, but only proved that Pukepuddle lost by more votes than originally recorded. Lately, a comparable failure involves a bunch of mentally-defective mother truckers who've been trying to disrupt society by staging protests with something they call freedom convoys.
