Q NOTES # 871: Mid-Week Meandering

The results of the Kansas election yesterday are getting attention today, mainly because Kansas is a hopelessly red state, but the pro-choice vote won by a substantial margin. It may be time to put some of the traditional assumptions away for awhile.

Someone posted an idea that makes a lot of sense to me, and I'll summarize it as follows: Everything that occurred in U.S politics between the 2016 and 2020 elections was a radical departure from the way things were supposed to work (based on traditional standards and conventions). Making predictions for elections in 2022 or 2024 based on the way things were ten or twenty years ago isn't necessarily a smart move.

The Supreme Court got a lot of attention when the five crazy christians (sic) tossed out the Roe v Wade decision, and the public hearings of the House J6 select committee have revealed just how close to the abyss Waste of Shit #1 pushed us. Finally, Waste of Shit #1 has insisted on hogging the spotlight in the (Trumplickan) primaries, which could make the November voting another referendum on him, his insanity, and the damage he's done.

PS: Alex Jones is just another waste of shit who's never had any particular significance in my life, but that may be about to change

If (or when) Idaho becomes a Nazi state, as planned, the Idaho Nazis need to be treated like those in Germany were treated back in the 1940s.
