Q. Notes, Day 215

In the bizarre world of Cheez Whiz's mind, television ratings are of paramount importance, and he's probably devoted more time to obsessing over them than any of the 44 real presidents in U.S. history.

He's failed at many things, both professionally and in his private life, but his key success was his TV reality show, and success in television is always measured by ratings.

Therefore, I'm awaiting his reaction when he learns that Joe Biden's town hall on ABC had about a million more viewers than the one on NBC that Cheezy threw up as a roadblock to Biden's.

Cheezy has been very consistent in a few areas in addition to obsession with TV ratings. One that's notable is his ability to believe that he can make something true merely by saying it aloud. When he talks about a 'red wave' that's building momentum, it becomes real in his imagination.

Cheez Whiz is floating a trial balloon, as he's known to do. He makes a remark in a setting like one of his pep rallies, where it's sure to be noticed. Usually it sounds like he's being sarcastic or trying to be humorous, but he's actually testing the waters of public opinion. That's probably the reality behind Cheezy's suggestion that if he loses to Biden, he may need to leave the country.

He wants to hear a deafening "Oh no, sir, please don't leave us!"

Instead, he's more likely to hear "Is that a promise, motherfucker?"

Lindsey Graham losing to Harrison would be a sweet win for Democrats. Only one that would be better would be Moscow Mitch getting dumped in Kentucky.
