The more I see of Willard, the more I'm convinced: Romney has turned out to be everything Republicans accused Al Gore and John Kerry of being in 2000 and 2004. Keep watching, then tell me I'm wrong.
Added 11:30 PM Wednesday 29 August: So far I've resisted every tiny temptation to sneak a peek at the dog-and-pony show the Republicans are putting on for the rubes in Tampa. I watched a few minutes of late-night analysis on MSNBC, but that doesn't count. From what I'm reading online, if Mitt and Ryan ever go into show business they should call their act Two Lying Motherfuckers.
