The news on the economic front is the creation of 243,000 new jobs and a small drop in the unemployment rate to 8.3 percent. There are many people for whom this is welcome news, but none of them are Republicans. The GOP has an agenda that can't be implemented until they control all three branches of the federal government again, and a gradual economic recovery will make it harder to capture the White House. So it's not surprising that the party's public reaction to the report is more gloom-and-doom. Why do Republicans hate America ?
