Losing out

Another column by E. J. Dionne forecasting big losses for the Democrats in the fall elections. I'm ready to concede control of Congress to the Republicans beginning in 2011, and the only real question is how long it'll take for impeachment proceedings to get underway. In a perfect world, the GOP would assume the majority, decide to do something constructive for a change, and shut the fuck up. It ain't a perfect world, and I'm not counting on it.
