Top Gun looking out for my interests

Top Gun, always looking around for ways to make life better for ordinary Americans, is suggesting that the federal gasoline tax be suspended for the summer months. As I understand it, the tax is currently 18.4 cents per gallon. When I fill up either car, it usually takes 12.5 gallons. I have to fill up an average of 3.5 times per month, so Top Gun's proposition would put an average of $ 8.05 in my pocket each month for three months. That's 24 dollars and 15 cents. Color me impressed. Who said life couldn't get better ?
