Another week (number 22, to be exact) wraps up today. The biggest story this week? That probably would be the attempted destruction of the U.S. Postal Service by Cheezy and his accomplice, Louis DeJoy. It's no surprise that Moscow Mitch also figures into the situation. Any time there's a big mess caused by the abuse of power, it's a safe bet the chinless wonder is somehow involved.
A test for COVID-19 that's relatively simple, affordable, and accurate? With all the discouraging news that's circulating, is it possible these are the first rays of sunshine in a brand new dawn? That would be nice for a change. I guess we'll see how things work out.
Daily Kos: Cheezy demands a steady stream of positive feedback and good news that cheers him up, so the people on his payroll make damn sure he gets what he demands. Since Cheezy's primary source of information is the media, especially TV news shows, his people make up happy news and feed it to the media, who in turn feed it to Cheezy. Since TV news shows are always ready to funnel unfiltered bullshit to their audiences, the same happy news that's tailored to keep Cheezy in a mellow mood makes Democrats suicidal.
In 2016, Cheezy had the benefit of being publicly recognized as the dynamo he played on a TV show instead of the lazy, incompetent psycho that he actually is. I imagine a lot of people who disliked HRC looked at Cheezy, saw a few flaws, but rationalized that the American System of Representative Democracy which kept us above water through a great depression and two world wars in the 20th century should keep him in line for a measly four years.
Now we know better. The American system only works as long as decent human beings are in the majority.
