The media made Trump possible by treating him like Princess Di and giving him billions of dollars worth of free television and print coverage during the GOP primary. Trump knew that all publicity is good publicity when you're only trying to persuade the kind of dipshits who think Duck Dynasty is real life, and he knew how to keep media people sniffing his asshole by giving them what amounted to a popular TV reality show.
