In the second comment to the post below, someone identifying himself as Lefty Ray takes me to task for my ignorance on the topic of tejano music. Mr. Ray apparently doesn't understand the concept of snark as it's utilized at this blogsite. Thanks for checking in, Mr. Ray. Come back any time, but I doubt I'll meet your expectations. Fortunately, the internet is filled with serious blogs that might approach your exacting standards of accuracy.
Added 6:58 pm on 15 Feb: Goddammit, if I had only done a Google search before I started running my commentary about tejano music, I'd have found this and we could've all just gotten along. Being of a somewhat liberal persuasion, I set the blog up so that anybody could wander in off the cyberstreet and leave a comment without having to register or do any of that other rightwing fascist stuff. Now, some dude comes to my personal blog and tries to kick my ass on my own turf. Ain't that a pisser ?
