Added 2:16 PM on 19 August: Here's some lighter news for a change. After, the RNC debacle, the popularity of Rafael (Ted) Cruz among Republicans has dropped significantly, and now former Texas career politician Rick Perry might be a viable candidate to win Rafael's Senate seat in 2018.
